In 1967 Crosland Cutters introduced to their cutting forme range of products, Multi-piece cutting formes, necessary to meet the increasing demands of the burgeoning auto packaging industries.


Acquired in 1972 by Harry Rose, Crosland Cutters Ltd is now one of the longest established cutting forme manufacturers in the UK and with a large dedicated staff is able to offer not just great advice & service but first class quality and delivery. We just live cutting formes!

Gasket Tooling

Manufactured to extremely high tolerances our gasket cutters have been used to manufacture gaskets in many industries, from auto to medical, cutting materials as diverse as cork, felt and rubber.

Vacuum Forming Blister Pack Cutters

Manufactured to accommodate & cut deeper products, such as Clam packs. The rule can be up to 4” deep, spot welded, for extra durability & supported in key areas to reduce the chance of the blade flexion under pressure.

Cartons

Crosland cutters manufactures carton cutters for all industries. From formes for cutting environmentally friendly coffins, to full Bobst set dies & strippers.

Foam Cutters

Croslands foam cutters are manufactured specifically for purpose & take into account depth of foam, compression & density of product, ensuring a perfect result every time.

POS Display

From Wobblers to display stands. Cutting materials from N flute to Foamex to magnetic and everything inbetween.

Jigsaw

Unlike most, all Crosland jigsaws are bent by hand and are not made from pre-bent, off-the-shelf components. This enables us to offer a truly unique cutting forme.

Bespoke Design

The latest version of the CAD package Impact enables us to pinpoint any possible problems with your, or our forme design.

Samples & Prototypes

Need a sample? Our versatile Zund plotter gives us the flexibility to produce working samples from materials supplied by you. From Rubber, PP’s, boards of all grades and thickness to materials for car interiors, we can supply a working finished item.

We also have the capacity, should it be required, to construct a working cutting forme to run through one of our finishing presses.

Crosland Cutters Ltd produce the most intricate pattern of cutting formes; from greetings cards to gaskets, car interior trim to carpet tiles, lampshades to labels, blister packs to boxes, suitcases to shrink packs, visors to vacuum formings, jigsaw puzzles to jig boards.

It must be emphasised that Croslands are also highly competitive in price. Many of our customers tell Croslands to get on with the job without asking for an estimate, safe in the knowledge that their cutting formes are in the right hands and supplied at the right price.
